U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio declared on June 3 during a House Appropriations Committee hearing that the 'Operation Epic Confrontation' military campaign against Iran has concluded and claimed the United States has achieved victory. "We are no longer conducting strikes against targets in Iran because the operation has ended," Rubio stated. He acknowledged that while the U.S. and Israel inflicted significant damage to Iran's military capabilities, Iran retains certain drone and maritime warfare capabilities.
