U.S. Stock Funds See $35.3B Net Outflows in Week of June 24, Tech Sector Slides

According to LSEG Refinitiv data, U.S. stock mutual funds experienced net redemptions of $35.3 billion in the week ended June 24, compared with net inflows of $376.3 billion the prior week. Technology-focused funds saw outflows of nearly $20 billion, reversing the previous week's inflows of $214.6 billion. The shift was driven by investor concerns over tech companies' reliance on debt financing and expectations for a hawkish Federal Reserve stance.
