Intel gained over 11%, and Marvell Technology advanced over 9%, while the Magnificent Seven technology index fell 0.22%.
In Europe, the DAX declined 0.58%, the CAC40 dropped 0.23%, and the FTSE 100 edged up 0.05%. Precious metals futures fell broadly: COMEX gold declined 0.26% to $4,353.80 per ounce, and COMEX silver dropped 1.13% to $68.33 per ounce.
