U.S. Storage Chip Index Falls 10.92% on Friday, Down 5.67% for the Week

On Friday (June 5), the U.S. storage chip and hardware supply chain index fell 10.92% to close at 198.69 points, declining 5.67% for the week.

All major components dropped sharply: Rambus fell 14.20%, Micron Technology declined 13.25%, Teradyne and SanDisk each fell at least 11.39%, Western Digital dropped 11.08%, and Lam Research, Applied Materials, and Seagate Technology fell at least 8.48%.
