According to OFAC statements, the U.S. Treasury Department has recently added cryptocurrency wallet addresses to its Cuba sanctions list across multiple blockchain networks, including Tron (TRX), Dogecoin (DOGE), Solana (SOL), Dash (DASH), Zcash (ZEC), Litecoin (LTC), Bitcoin (BTC), and Ethereum (ETH). The wallets are reportedly associated with foundation funds and digital asset accounts linked to the Cuban government. U.S. citizens, financial institutions, and cryptocurrency exchanges are prohibited from transacting with these addresses or providing financial services to them, with exchanges expected to implement blocking mechanisms as part of their sanctions compliance.
