On June 3, Vanguard S&P 500 ETF (VOO) reached $1 trillion in assets under management, becoming the first ETF globally to join the 'trillion-dollar club.' According to ETFGI, VOO has attracted net inflows exceeding $60 billion since the beginning of 2026, driven by sustained U.S. equity market strength and investor demand for artificial intelligence exposure. The fund has surpassed State Street's SPY, which tracks the same S&P 500 index, as the largest U.S. equity ETF.
