WEMIX$ Stablecoin Contract Hacked, $6.25M Anomalously Drained on July 26

According to Digital Assets and an official WEMIX statement, the WEMIX$ stablecoin smart contract was compromised on July 26 at 6:18 p.m. The attacker gained control of the contract's owner privileges, resulting in approximately $6.25 million in WEMIX$ being anomalously minted and transferred to external addresses. WEMIX identified suspected attack-related addresses and is conducting on-chain tracking in coordination with major exchanges and blockchain security firms to monitor the stolen assets' movement.
