According to CCTV News, on May 22, World Health Organization Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus expressed deep concern over the Ebola outbreak, reporting 82 confirmed cases and 7 deaths.

The WHO chief noted the outbreak scale extends far beyond confirmed cases, with approximately 750 suspected cases and 177 suspected deaths recorded. In Uganda, the situation remains stable with 2 confirmed cases and 1 reported death.
