Wuzhou Issues Yellow Flood Alert on July 7 as Multiple River Segments Exceed Warning Levels

According to Wuzhou Flood Control and Drought Relief Command, on July 7, the Guijiang, Mengjiang, Xuanjiang, and Xijiang rivers have exceeded warning water levels due to heavy rainfall and upstream inflows. Over the next 24 hours, river segments in Tangxian County, Longsui District, and Wuzhou city are expected to rise 3–4 meters further. The Xuanjiang segment in Tangxian County will see flooding about 3.5 meters above the 23.0-meter warning threshold, Longsui District about 5.5 meters above the 19.0-meter threshold, and the Xijiang segment in Wuzhou city about 5.0 meters above the 18.5-meter threshold. Wuzhou Hydrological Center issued a yellow flood warning.
