According to Beating, Xiaomi's MiMo large language model API underwent significant pricing changes recently, with permanent price cuts reaching up to 99% and unified billing across all context lengths. The flagship MiMo-V2.5-Pro model saw its cached input price drop to $0.0036 per million tokens (down 99%), uncached input to $0.435 per million tokens (down 78%), and output to $0.87 per million tokens (down 86%). The standard MiMo-V2.5 model's cached input price fell to $0.0028 per million tokens (down 98%), uncached input to $0.14 per million tokens (down 83%), and output to $0.28 per million tokens (down 93%).
Subscription tiers were upgraded with unified point-based pricing, maintaining the $6, $16, $50, and $100 monthly prices while increasing available points to 4.1 billion, 11 billion, 38 billion, and 82 billion respectively. Users can now access 5 to 8 times more token allowance at the same subscription cost. Separately, Xiaomi's MiMo developer support program, which launched on April 28, has concluded after distributing 1 quadrillion tokens worth approximately $9.7 million across 241,879 approved developers from 548,664 applicants.
