XRP Jumps 3.25% to $1.1485 as Trump Backs Clarity Act Ethics Clause

According to reports, XRP climbed 3.25% to $1.1485 late Monday, ranking third among top-50 gainers, after President Trump agreed to an ethics provision that had stalled the Clarity Act in the Senate. The Ripple-linked token broke above the $1.13 resistance level for the first time since late June. Trump's backing of the ethics clause—which would prohibit the president and his family from directly benefiting from cryptocurrency ventures—raised Polymarket's odds of Clarity Act passage to 43%, up from 32%. The legislation would formally classify XRP as a digital commodity, removing regulatory ambiguity that has constrained institutional demand. The Senate must vote before August recess.
