Yuan Strengthens Against Most Major Currencies on July 22 as USD/CNY Hits 6.7933

On July 22, the interbank foreign exchange market set the yuan's central parity against the US dollar at 6.7933, up 16 basis points, indicating yuan depreciation. The euro fell to 7.7345 per yuan, down 73 basis points, while the British pound declined to 9.0744 per yuan, down 339 basis points. The Australian dollar rose to 4.7476 per yuan, up 8 basis points, and the Canadian dollar fell to 4.8066 per yuan, down 110 basis points. The Japanese yen weakened to 4.1592 per 100 yuan, down 171 basis points.
