Yuan Weakens Against Dollar to 6.8187 on June 2; USD/CNY Up 20 Basis Points

On June 2, the Chinese yuan weakened against the U.S. dollar, with the USD/CNY midpoint rate set at 6.8187, up 20 basis points from the previous session, according to China's interbank foreign exchange market.

Other major currency pairs showed mixed movements: EUR/CNY declined 54 points to 7.9068, GBP/CNY rose 133 points to 9.1472, AUD/CNY fell 78 points to 4.8681, JPY/CNY (per 100 yen) dropped 35 points to 4.2621, and CHF/CNY declined 437 points to 8.6485.
