Z FIN Surges 41% on Privatization Proposal at HK$6.60 per Share, 61% Premium

According to Z FIN announcement, the Hong Kong-listed company received a privatization proposal from controlling shareholder Ou Ya Ping today upon resumption of trading. The privatization will be conducted via scheme of arrangement at HK$6.60 per share in cash, representing a 61% premium to the last trading price of HK$4.09. The maximum cash consideration payable is approximately HK$1.019 billion. Following the announcement, Z FIN shares surged as much as 48.9% to HK$6.09, closing up 40.6% at HK$5.75 by late morning.
