ZTE Kangxun Telecom and Maginfra Get U.S. Approval to Procure Nvidia H200

According to Reuters, ZTE Kangxun Telecom, a subsidiary of ZTE, and server maker Maginfra have received U.S. approval to purchase Nvidia's H200 GPUs. A subsidiary of Kingsoft has also obtained authorization to procure similar AMD chips. These three companies were not previously disclosed. The U.S. approved approximately 10 Chinese firms, including Alibaba, Tencent, ByteDance, and JD.com, to purchase H200 in May. Recent indications suggest some Chinese cloud service providers may receive H200 shipments soon.
