📉【In-Depth】From "Liquidity Fuel" to "Sweeping Monk": My Survival Position Theory
Flipping through the old book "Demi-Gods and Semi-Devils," seeing Qiao Feng’s gathering of heroes at the Jiu Xian Zhuang, I suddenly realize a brutal truth while staring at the candlestick chart:
The difference between me and Qiao Feng isn’t in martial arts skill, but in him living in a novel, while I live in a contract.
Three months ago, I was that person who thought he was the protagonist, a "Qiao Feng":
BTC 50x leverage, full position, no stop-loss.
When the margin call came, and the liquidation line sliced through my account like a knife, I instantly understood my true market position — I was just an NPC providing liquidity to the exchange (Gate).
It wasn’t until re-watching the story of Xu Zhu and the Sweeping Monk that I completely reconstructed my trading system.
Now I strictly follow a position management system called "Survival at All Costs," with only eight core words: Cash is King, Spot is the Buoy.
📌 This is my current complete configuration:
🔸 Foundation Position (BTC/ETH spot): 50%
• Definition: This is my "real estate" in the crypto world.
• Strategy: Keep a low profile, lie low without moving, only buy, never sell.
• Significance: No matter how the contracts are played, this is my last bottom line.
🔸 Offensive Position (Contract fragments): 10%
• Definition: Used solely as "tuition" to maintain market feel.
• Discipline: Leverage limited to 5–10x, single trade stop-loss ≤ total funds 1%.
• Mindset: If it blows up, it doesn’t affect life; if it wins, never stubbornly add to the position.
🔸 Defensive Position (USDT safe box): 30%
• Definition: Source of anti-fragility.
• Usage: Specifically waiting for extreme margin call situations, picking up bloodied chips on Gate.
• Discipline: No sudden crashes, no use of funds; with grain in hand, no panic in mind.
🔸 Testing Position (Hot Altcoins): 10%
• Definition: Pure speculative trial and error.
• Discipline: Take profits and run; unconditional stop-loss within three days of loss.
📌 Core Cognition:
In the more brutal crypto markets than the Gathering of Heroes, surviving means you’ve won against 90% of people.
• Like Jing Yü’s Northern Darkness Divine Skill (DCA/Grid), slowly harvesting market wool;
• Abandon Qiao Feng’s heartbreaking strong liquor (full leverage all-in), which can wipe out half your life in one gulp.
Finally, I leave a question for everyone:
In this cycle, are you proving yourself with "Qiao Feng’s way," or protecting yourself with "Sweeping Monk’s way"?
My answer is: The Sweeping Monk never goes all-in.
