PANews February 8 News, according to FOX 10, two teenagers in California have been charged with a felony for allegedly committing a violent home invasion robbery. It is claimed that their target was $66 million worth of cryptocurrency. The suspects disguised themselves as delivery drivers to enter the house, then sealed the homeowner’s door with tape and assaulted the resident.
The police stated that the motive for the suspects’ crime was to steal the cryptocurrency valued at $66 million that the homeowner allegedly held. Investigators believe that these two teenagers recently met and were coerced into participating in the crime by criminals using the aliases “Red” and “8.” The police arrested the two teenagers shortly after they fled the scene in a blue Subaru.
