Strategy Underwriter Clear Street delays IPO and significantly reduces IPO fundraising target

Foresight News reports that, according to Reuters, Strategy underwriter Clear Street announced a delay of its US IPO originally scheduled for Friday, citing “market conditions” as the reason. Additionally, the company has significantly reduced its Nasdaq IPO fundraising target from an initial $1.05 billion to $364 million. After the reduction, Clear Street’s valuation is approximately $7.2 billion, down from the previous target valuation of $11.8 billion.

In recent years, Clear Street has become one of the leading underwriters for cryptocurrency-related stock offerings, providing underwriting services for multiple crypto treasury companies, including multiple stock offerings for Strategy, and has also served as an underwriter for Trump Media & Technology Group.

Foresight News previously reported that Clear Street announced in early December 2025 that it plans to go public as early as January 2026.

Digital assets + TradFi full integration: tokenized stocks, USDT settlement, and 24-hour trading reshape the global market

On February 13, it was reported that the global financial system is undergoing a profound restructuring. Digital assets, once considered a "parallel world" to traditional finance (TradFi), have now formed a tightly connected trading network. Cryptocurrencies, born 16 years ago, have evolved from fringe experiments into a vital part of the mainstream capital system and are changing the way funds flow across markets. The core driver of this trend is the rise of new-generation integrated trading platforms. They break down long-standing asset barriers, enabling more efficient switching between cryptocurrencies, stocks, forex, and commodities. Through native digital settlement mechanisms, real-time confirmation, and lower cost structures, investors can achieve multi-asset allocation within the same ecosystem, avoiding frequent transfers of funds between traditional banks and brokerage systems.

Russia's return to USD settlement triggers market turbulence. Can Bitcoin brew a reversal above $60,000?

February 13 News, geopolitical tensions continue to impact global risk assets. Since the beginning of this week, financial market capitalization has evaporated by approximately $120 billion, with major stock indices retreating to pre-election levels. Amid rising risk aversion, gold initially rebounded but experienced a 3.19% decline on February 12, indicating that market sentiment is still rapidly shifting. On the same trading day, Bitcoin fell by 1.2%, and the U.S. stock market's S&P 500 index dropped by 1.57%, showing a synchronized weakening trend. Bloomberg reported that Russia is re-expanding the use of the US dollar in cross-border settlements, a move seen as an important signal for the global currency landscape. From a technical perspective, the US dollar index, after more than a year of correction, has returned to the 2022 range, and the potential for a rebound could enhance the attractiveness of dollar assets.
