Gate News message, April 15 — Two vessels transited the Strait of Hormuz and entered Iranian waters on April 15. One was a supertanker capable of carrying approximately 2 million barrels of crude oil that had previously been placed on the U.S. sanctions list; the other was a general cargo ship loaded with food supplies.

Both vessels activated their positioning systems during transit and experienced no interference during their passage. Iran’s official authorities have not yet confirmed the reports.
