A friend of mine started with only 1,800U as principal, and in three months, his account grew to 29,000U. Now it consistently stays above 58,000U. Throughout the entire process, he never got liquidated even once.

I'm not here to show off results. I just want to say that there are indeed opportunities in this market, but it's absolutely not about luck or going all-in—it’s about having a method.

Here are three core lessons I’ve summarized from growing my own account from 8,000U:

**First, position sizing—this is the baseline for survival.**

Never go all-in. Back then, I told him to split his 1,800U into three parts, each with 600U:

One part for intraday trades—focus on a single entry point, exit as soon as you hit your target, don’t hesitate;

One part for mid-term swings—might not move for ten days or half a month, but if your logic is right, you can catch big profits;

The last part is for a base position—no matter how the market fluctuates, don’t touch it. This is your chip for a comeback.

Too many people go all-in right from the start, and one pullback wipes them out. If you don’t even give yourself a chance to survive, how can you talk about making money?

**Second, aim for thick profits—don’t mess around during sideways markets.**

The market grinds sideways 80% of the time; trading frequently during these periods is just handing money over to the market.

My strategy is simple: wait during sideways markets, only act when a trend emerges.

Once you make money, know when to cash out. Profit over 20%? Withdraw 30% immediately and lock it in.

People who really know how to play aren’t glued to the screen trading every day—they either don’t act, or when they do, they make it count.

**Lastly, control your emotions—replace feelings with rules.**

The biggest danger in trading is letting your emotions take over. So you must set hard rules in advance:

Set your stop-loss at 2%. If it hits, cut the position—never hold on hoping for a reversal;

When profits reach 4%, reduce your position to secure gains;

A loss is a loss—never average down or try to recover by adding more. The more you add, the deeper you get.

Write these rules down and stick to them strictly. Don’t let emotions control your account. The state of making money is letting your capital operate based on a system, not your mood.

Rolling 1,800U to 58,000U was all about locking in risk and letting profits accumulate gradually.

I only share real experiences—no hype, no empty promises. These are genuine lessons for surviving in this market.
