Walrus, the emerging decentralized storage protocol, has recently attracted a lot of attention, mainly because it aims to solve the pain points in existing storage solutions—high costs and limited functionality.

From a technical perspective, this project indeed has some solid capabilities. First, its innovative coding technology can significantly improve efficiency and reduce costs, which is a real competitive advantage in the storage sector. Second, its features of "programmability" and "deletability" expand the scope of potential applications—this is different from the approach taken by Filecoin or Arweave.

The ecosystem moat should not be overlooked. Backed by Mysten Labs and the Sui ecosystem, it benefits from a mature technical team and an active community, which are significant advantages for a new project.

However, risks are also present. Competitors like Filecoin and Arweave have been around for years, accumulating users and network effects. As a cryptocurrency project, the token price inevitably follows overall market fluctuations. More importantly, Walrus is still in a relatively early stage, and the long-term reliability of its technology and actual market acceptance need time to be validated.

Overall, this is an innovative project, but there are many uncertainties on its growth path, so continuous observation is recommended.

Another new project in the Sui ecosystem. Will it break through this time?

Another new thing from the Sui ecosystem, Mysten Labs still has some potential Walrus wants to eliminate Filecoin's costs, I believe, but network effects can't be overtaken just by lowering costs Early-stage projects are always like this; the technology seems fine, but whether they can survive the next bear market is the real test Token prices still depend on market sentiment. Honestly, it's too brave to enter now Programmable and deletable features are indeed a new idea, but the user base of Arweave is already established Let's wait and see, no need to go all in immediately. These storage projects carry significant risks

Another new storage giant, is backing by the Sui ecosystem really that impressive? Filecoin is still exploring, and Walrus dares to claim cost reduction, but it remains to be seen whether it will truly be implemented later on.

Another new story in the Sui ecosystem. Can Walrus break through this time? Mysten Labs's endorsement is indeed effective, but the folks at Filecoin are not to be underestimated. Ultimately, it's about who can build the ecosystem first. Thinking of overthrowing the storage sector with low costs? That's overestimating yourself. Early projects are all about gambling. If you bet right, you take off; if you bet wrong, you go to zero. Token prices still depend on the overall trend. Programmable and deletable sounds good, but we need to wait for market feedback to see if it's truly innovative or just pseudo-innovation.
