Watching the ZAMA detractors on social media throw around their criticism is pretty amusing when you see what's really driving it. It's cope, plain and simple.

Here's what's actually going on—they're watching their peers who believed in this project early start positioning themselves to win big. And that stings. They were supposedly on the same wavelength, same level, same starting point. Now suddenly some of them are about to level up and leave the others behind.

So what do they do? They desperately want ZAMA to crater. Not because they genuinely think it will fail, but because the alternative—watching their friends succeed while they sat on the sidelines—is way harder to stomach. The project's failure would be the only consolation prize, the only way the scoreboard resets.

It's a tale as old as crypto itself.
