In the past week, I haven't paid much attention to the premium and discount of LBTC until tonight when I actually executed an arbitrage. I redeemed LBTC at the protocol price while capturing a price difference opportunity on DEX.
There were two pitfalls during the process. First, the automatic minting feature unexpectedly shut down during network congestion, almost stalling the entire process. Second, a certain exchange wallet showed a balance of 0, and it took me a while to realize it was an address type issue—switching to Native SegWit/Taproot address format made it display correctly.
This experience shows that when doing DeFi operations, you can't just focus on price differences; protocol details and wallet configurations are equally critical. Especially for Bitcoin-related Layer2 assets, address compatibility is often a hidden trap.
