The recent rhythm of the crypto market is really hard to keep up with. Not long ago, Ethereum Layer 2 was still a hot topic of discussion, but over the past two weeks, BSC chain information has flooded the scene. Especially after leading industry institutions announced their support, I believe the opportunity window for BSC chain has indeed opened. If you’re still on the sidelines at this point, you might end up chasing the market later.
Starting with the fundamentals, why are major institutions betting on BSC chain? Simply put, it’s all about "cost-effectiveness." I checked the latest on-chain metrics, and after last year's system optimizations, the average block time on BSC chain has dropped to 0.8 seconds, nearly twice as fast as before. Gas fees are also so low they’re almost invisible, with per-transaction costs far below 1/50 of Ethereum’s. This isn’t just a good-looking number; the improvement in real transaction experience is obvious. Plus, industry-leading exchanges have announced an investment of $80 million to support the BSC ecosystem, which means there will be ongoing project introductions and liquidity injections.
So, the question is, how to turn these signals into actual investment judgments? My approach is that good targets must meet two core conditions: first, they should be quickly understandable by global users; second, the participation threshold must be low enough. Projects with obscure names or complex mechanisms can basically be excluded, as international capital won’t spend much time digging into their underlying design.
Based on this standard, I focus on projects with simple, easy-to-remember names. A straightforward name means global users can easily recall it, which is a huge advantage in international dissemination. Compared to complex projects that require a lot of educational effort, these types of targets often have greater potential to break out of their niche. Of course, it’s also important to consider their specific ecosystem position and funding support, but overall, the current ecosystem expansion cycle of BSC chain is worth close attention.
