Bitcoin is quietly brewing a major change amid slight fluctuations. Institutional actions are accelerating—South Korea has incorporated its spot BTC ETF plan into the 2026 economic growth strategy, while also advancing blockchain payment legal frameworks. This is not only a regulatory signal but also an acceleration of institutional acceptance.
Data shows that publicly listed companies already hold over 923,000 BTC, with a market value of up to $86 billion. There are also reports that U.S. banks are accumulating Bitcoin. This strategic layout is not a momentary impulse but a genuine long-term bet. VanEck's report is even more optimistic—by 2050, BTC could reach $2.9 million, based on its potential as a global settlement asset and central bank reserve. It sounds aggressive, but the logic holds.
The problem now is that the market is fighting. On one hand, institutions are accumulating, but on the other hand, ETFs are experiencing large-scale net outflows. Weekly outflows amount to $672 million, with single-day outflows exceeding $340 million. Investors are re-evaluating their strategies, which is normal. Technical indicators also show some lag—MACD histogram remains negative, short-term EMA is suppressed by long-term moving averages, signaling a clear bearish trend.
Spot BTC is repeatedly testing between $91,500 and $98,000, with selling pressure clearly present in this range. Resistance above is near $91,520. Liquidity is thin, making it easy to break through quickly or bounce back. The short-term outlook is uncertain, but the long-term fundamental logic remains intact.
