#加密钱包安全 Seeing the hacking incident involving Trust Wallet, I still need to remain vigilant. A loss of $7 million, although CZ has promised full compensation, raises important questions behind the scenes.
Having been in the crypto space for many years, I’ve seen too many tricks where "official channels are attacked." The key isn’t just the ability to compensate, but how they got hacked in the first place. Browser extension tampering and release issues—what does this tell us? It indicates that even major project teams can have vulnerabilities in their security management.
So don’t relax just because there’s a compensation promise. The real self-rescue methods are:
1. Immediately stop using version v2.68 and update to 2.69 following the official steps. This is not a suggestion; it’s a must.
2. If you still have assets in your wallet, don’t expect the compensation process to be quick. Transfer your assets to a cold wallet or other secure wallets in advance—this is always faster than waiting for compensation.
3. Reflect on your security habits. Using browser extension wallets inherently carries higher risks. If your assets are substantial, you shouldn’t put all your eggs in one basket.
Over the years, I’ve seen too many people fall for the assumption that "I use a big project." Big projects can be attacked, and small projects can be attacked too. The key is whether you have alternative plans. Those who last long never bet on the project’s security; they only bet on their own defenses.
