#美国非农就业数据未达市场预期 The US cryptocurrency ATM scam problem is heating up. According to the latest FBI data, losses from crypto ATM-related scams alone soared to $240 million in the first half of 2025—almost double the same period last year. How serious is the issue? Spokane, Washington, has outright banned crypto ATMs, becoming the largest city-level ban in the US.
This wave of regulation is spreading. Arizona, Arkansas, Vermont, and St. Paul, Minnesota, are all considering or have already tightened related policies, with some even planning to follow Spokane’s comprehensive ban. Notably, the US accounts for about 80% of the global crypto ATM market, which means if US bans continue to expand, the entire industry will feel the impact.
For $BTC and other crypto asset holders, this reflects a bigger issue—compliance and risk management are becoming the focus of policies worldwide. Frequent scams not only damage user confidence but also cast a shadow over the overall ecosystem’s compliance.
