Projects claiming to be RWA are everywhere in the market, but a closer look reveals that most share a common flaw: either they rely on public blockchains to handle all data, with no privacy at all; or they hide behind privacy frameworks, pretending not to see regulatory issues. The final outcome is often quite awkward—either institutions are not interested, or they are directly targeted by regulatory authorities.
Dusk Foundation has taken a different approach over the past few years. From the very beginning of the project, their goal has been clear: to find a true balance between privacy and compliance.
You can feel the difference just by looking at their partnership lineup. Partners include NPEX (a licensed exchange in the Netherlands), infrastructure providers like Chainlink, and stablecoin projects operating under MiCA standards such as Quantoz. More importantly, concepts like trustless custody and security tokenization are no longer just ideas on whitepapers—they are being implemented in real-world scenarios.
Technically speaking, the mainnet is already stable. DuskEVM combined with the Hedger tool allows developers to quickly deploy financial contracts that require confidentiality. Meanwhile, most other privacy-focused blockchains are still in testing phases; this progress gap is significant.
If your stance is to access real institutional assets without exposing these assets entirely on-chain, it seems that Dusk is indeed one of the few options capable of delivering this promise. Before 2026, there will be no other such combination.
