On-Chain Whale Map: Satoshi Nakamoto's Chip Advantage is Several Times Greater Than Competitors
According to the latest on-chain data statistics, Satoshi Nakamoto, as the creator of Bitcoin, still holds the largest BTC asset reserve to date, with a holding size of approximately 968,000 coins, accounting for 4.6% of the total Bitcoin supply. This data clearly indicates that even after many years, Satoshi Nakamoto remains the world’s largest single Bitcoin holder.
The second place is the Strategy Fund, which holds about 672,000 BTC. Although the scale is considerable, there is a significant gap compared to Satoshi Nakamoto’s holdings, with the difference approaching 30%. In comparison, the US government, as a national holder, currently controls about 328,000 BTC, which is only about one-third of Satoshi Nakamoto’s holdings.
From a market perspective, Satoshi Nakamoto’s massive holdings and relatively static holding strategy are of great significance for the long-term stability of Bitcoin’s price. While this concentration may reflect the need for better distribution of Bitcoin from certain angles, it also confirms Bitcoin’s core status as a scarce asset.
