#Trust Wallet安全事件 Seeing that Trust Wallet has encountered issues again, I feel really frustrated. Friends who are still using the vulnerable version, beware—this is not a minor problem. Attackers have embedded PostHog JS directly into the code to steal your wallet information, and even upgrading to a new version doesn't completely remove this malicious code.
The key issue is that many people don't know what to do. The advice from SlowMist is very harsh but necessary: disconnect from the internet first, then export your mnemonic phrase to transfer assets. Reversing the order is equivalent to self-destruct. Why? Because as soon as you open an online wallet, the malicious code starts running, exposing your mnemonic phrase, private keys, and other sensitive information right in front of the attacker.
After experiencing several rug pulls, I realize that defense is always more important than offense. Whether it's a wallet or an exchange, places that seem very secure often hide the deepest risks. Remember this principle: at any time, whenever assets are being transferred, assume the network environment might be compromised. Disconnecting from the internet beforehand is the hard rule. This is not over-caution; it's basic skills for surviving long on the chain. Don't wait until you're robbed to regret it.
