【Blockchain Rhythm】The Ethereum validator queue has recently accumulated quite a few new entries. As of January 18, the number of ETH waiting in line to join the PoS network has surpassed 2.59 million, equivalent to approximately 8.6 billion RMB. This is mainly due to BitMine actively promoting staking lately. At the current activation rate, new validators will have to wait about 45 days to go live.

Interestingly, the situation on the other side is quite different. The Ethereum staking withdrawal queue has now been completely cleared, meaning no one is currently redeeming ETH from staking. This creates a contrast—people are lining up to stake, while no one is withdrawing. From a certain perspective, this indicates that staking participants still have confidence in the Ethereum ecosystem. The coexistence of enthusiastic validator entry and indifferent exit reflects a shift in the market’s attitude towards the PoS mechanism.
