EHang Elevates Shuai Feng to Chief Technology Officer, Reinforcing Tech Leadership

EHang Holdings Ltd. (EH), a pioneering platform in advanced air mobility technology, has elevated Shuai Feng to Chief Technology Officer following Board approval, with the appointment becoming effective on January 14, 2026. This move underscores the company’s commitment to strengthening its technical foundation during its commercial expansion phase.

Feng brings over a decade of instrumental contributions to EHang’s innovation trajectory. Joining the company as a founding team member in July 2014, he has been instrumental in architecting and overseeing the development of multiple autonomous human-carrying eVTOL aircraft systems—including the flagship EH184, the advanced EH216-S variant, and the cutting-edge VT35 model. His technical portfolio also encompasses leadership of the GD series autonomous aerial formation UAV systems.

The appointment reflects Founder, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Huazhi Hu’s long-standing strategy to nurture next-generation technology leaders from within the organization. Hu’s emphasis on cultivating core technical talent has positioned Feng as a natural fit for this expanded leadership role.

Beyond core product development, Feng has assumed critical oversight in expanding EHang’s procurement and supply chain infrastructure—a key pillar of Hu’s full-industry-chain integration strategy. As the company scales its commercialization efforts, these operational capabilities have become increasingly vital to execution.

In his current capacity, Feng also serves as Compliance Officer, ensuring EHang maintains its foundational principles of “safety, compliance, innovation, and sustainability” across all organizational functions. His cross-functional leadership approach bridges technical excellence with operational rigor, positioning the company for sustained growth in the emerging urban air mobility sector.
