As Web3 applications grow, users increasingly need to operate across multiple blockchain networks. To improve the multi-chain experience, Gate Wallet introduced the Gas Station feature, further strengthening its capabilities at the core Web3 user experience layer.
This feature marks a significant upgrade in Gate’s foundational operations and is a key component of its ongoing All in Web3 strategy.
Currently, users must prepare native gas tokens separately for each network when moving assets across chains. If any network’s gas balance runs low, transactions cannot proceed, disrupting the process.
As multi-chain interactions become standard, fragmented gas management has become increasingly prominent—now one of the main factors impacting the Web3 user experience.
Gas Station creates a dedicated gas account for each user wallet, automatically covering network fees when native gas is insufficient. This ensures transactions go through smoothly.
This mechanism removes gas as a prerequisite for user operations, shifting it to an automated background process. It greatly reduces transaction failures due to insufficient gas.
Gas Station currently supports major EVM networks, including Ethereum, BNB Smart Chain, Base, Arbitrum, Avalanche, Polygon, Optimism, Linea, GateChain EVM, and Gate Layer, with more being added.
Users can fund their accounts with over 100 popular crypto assets—such as GT, USDT, USDC, ETH, and BNB—without needing to prepare separate gas tokens for different networks. This increases flexibility in managing funds.
In the long run, Gate centralizes complex gas management at the platform level, making on-chain operations much easier for users.
This approach shifts the Web3 user experience toward greater utility and everyday use, reducing technical complexity and lowering the barrier to entry.
Gas Station upholds Gate’s established security standards. Users can check payment records, balance changes, and transaction details at any time, ensuring transparent and traceable fund usage.
This feature does not require extra smart contract authorization, delivering convenience while keeping assets secure.
To mark the feature launch, Gate is offering limited-time incentives. New users receive gas subsidies with their first deposit, while active users can earn cashback on recharges and referral commission rewards.
These incentives further lower gas costs for users in multi-chain environments and encourage broader participation in on-chain activities.
Gas Station not only streamlines user transactions but also highlights Gate’s ongoing investment in Web3 infrastructure. As the multi-chain ecosystem evolves, foundational user experience will become a key competitive factor for platforms.
By consistently optimizing the basic user experience, Gate is building a more robust Web3 entry system—delivering smoother support for users participating in the on-chain world.
