CoinVoice has recently learned that the Bitcoin ZK Rollup GOAT Network has released the GOAT BitVM2 White Paper, proposing the first practical Bitcoin native ZK Rollup protocol.
This protocol proposes multiple innovations based on the advantages of the original BitVM2 protocol, systematically addressing issues such as Operator double spending attacks, inefficiencies in the challenge process, and insufficient incentive mechanisms. It introduces a cryptoeconomic security layer, accelerates dispute resolution, and aligns incentives in challenge economics. While inheriting the native security of BTC, it ensures high activity under the assumption of 1-of-n honest nodes and reduces the originally planned 14-day challenge period to less than 1 day.
