Starknet Mainnet Scheduled for Upgrade Today, Migrating Block Hash Calculation to Decentralized Apollo Nodes

Gate News reports that on March 18, Starknet officially announced on X that its mainnet will be temporarily shut down starting at 9:10 AM UTC today for a scheduled upgrade.

Expected downtime: approximately 12 minutes.

This upgrade is part of Starknet’s ongoing decentralization process, aiming to migrate the hash computation of Starknet blocks to decentralized Apollo nodes.
