According to CCTV, 29 rivers across Hunan, Chongqing, Guizhou, and Guangxi experienced flood levels exceeding alert thresholds on June 8, with the maximum overage reaching 2.16 meters following localized heavy rainfall. Among these, eight rivers including Wunan River in Hunan and Taohuaxi, Dazhang, Longtan, Yijia, and Yuyang rivers in Chongqing surpassed protective flood levels, with the maximum overage of 1.40 meters. Most rivers have begun to recede.
