7.9-Magnitude Earthquake Hits Philippines on June 8, Tsunami Warnings Issued

According to China Earthquake Networks Center, a 7.9-magnitude earthquake struck the Philippines on June 8. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology and Indonesia's Agency for Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics subsequently issued tsunami warnings for the affected regions.
