Anthropic's Seven Founders Become Billionaires After $65B Funding Round Valuing Company at $965B

According to Guru Club, on June 1, Anthropic's seven founders all became billionaires following the artificial intelligence company's $65 billion funding round completed on Thursday, which valued the company at $965 billion. The founders—Dario Amodei, Daniela Amodei, Tom Brown, Jack Clark, Jared Kaplan, Sam McCandlish, and Christopher Olah—each hold less than 1% of the company but now have stakes worth approximately $8 billion each.

The funding round marks the first time Anthropic surpassed OpenAI in valuation, as the latter was valued at $852 billion following its March 2026 fundraising.
