Apple Stock Posts Record Close Thursday, Up 16.5% YTD as Gemini Partnership Gains Traction

According to CNBC, Apple shares posted their first record close in over a month on Thursday, marking the strongest performance among the Magnificent Seven with a year-to-date gain of 16.5%. The rally reflects Wall Street's renewed confidence in Apple's low-cost artificial intelligence strategy. In January, Google confirmed a reported $1 billion annual deal to license its Gemini models and cloud technology to Apple, enabling the company to enhance Apple Intelligence and Siri capabilities. Apple unveiled its improved AI suite at WWDC in June, with the full rollout planned for the fall across iPhones, Macs, iPads, and Apple Watch.
