Apple's John Ternus to Become CEO on September 1, 2026

Gate News message, April 27 — Apple's newly appointed CEO John Ternus will officially take office on September 1, 2026. According to reports, Ternus is taking over with approximately 10 new product categories already in development, including a smart speaker with a display, a desktop home robot, home security devices, smart glasses with a camera, AI-powered AirPods, a wearable pendant, a touchscreen Mac, and a premium foldable iPad. The company also plans to launch lightweight AR glasses between 2028 and 2030.

During internal meetings, Ternus emphasized that Apple's AI product line and services will continue to expand, with Apple Pay remaining a key focus area for the company's future strategy.
