Aston Martin Recalls Over 2,000 DBX Vehicles in China on May 22 Over Suspension Defect

GateNews

According to a filing with China's State Administration for Market Regulation on May 22, Aston Martin Lagonda (China) Auto Sales Co., Ltd. recalled 2,033 imported DBX-series vehicles due to a suspension component defect. The recall includes 1,162 DBX models, 713 DBX I6 models, and 158 DBX707 models produced between July 2020 and June 2025.

The defect involves undersized fastening bolts on the rear axle lower control arm, which may cause the connection pin to loosen and slip out. In extreme cases, this could damage suspension components and brake systems, increasing collision risk. Aston Martin will replace the fastening bolts and inspect rear axle components at authorized dealers at no cost.
