Canada Q2 GDP Expected to Reach 2.5%, Surpassing Central Bank's 1.5% Forecast

According to Jin10, citing CIBC Capital Markets economist Andrew Grantsaham, Canada's second-quarter GDP is expected to achieve 2.5% annualized growth as of June 30. This forecast significantly exceeds the Bank of Canada's 1.5% expectation. Monthly data showed April GDP expanded 0.5% month-on-month, while May grew 0.1%.
