Central African Republic President Reappoints Felix Moloua as Prime Minister on May 15

On May 15, Central African Republic President Faustin-Archange Touadera signed a presidential decree reappointing Felix Moloua as Prime Minister. Moloua had submitted his resignation on May 13 following the country’s presidential election, a standard practice in the nation. Touadera won the presidential election on December 28, 2025, and was inaugurated on March 30, 2026, beginning a new seven-year term. Moloua was first appointed as Prime Minister in February 2022.
