According to CCTV Finance, China's research team unveiled a new brain-computer interface device yesterday afternoon (July 23), marking the world's first cross-region simultaneous brain signal collection from over 1,000 people. The breakthrough enables neural foundation model training and brain-computer interface technology development to advance significantly.
The team overcame two critical technical challenges: maintaining signal collection precision while miniaturizing the device, and eliminating network latency effects to achieve millisecond-level synchronization across multiple devices and regions, allowing uniform analysis of different brain signals.
