China and Germany Agree to Restart Economic Committee, Launch Export Control Talks on June 28

According to Jin10, on June 28, China's Commerce Minister Wang Wentao met with German Federal Minister for Economic Affairs and Energy Robert Habeck in Brussels. The two sides agreed to restart the China-Germany Economic and Trade Joint Committee mechanism and will establish trade, investment, and industrial cooperation working groups under the committee framework. Additionally, both sides agreed to immediately launch technical-level negotiations on export controls to address each other's concerns.
