China Attends BRICS Counterterrorism Working Group Meeting in New Delhi, May 21–22

China's Foreign Ministry Security Director Wang Lixin led a delegation to the 11th BRICS Counterterrorism Working Group meeting in New Delhi on May 21–22. Wang outlined China's assessment of the current international and regional counterterrorism landscape and called for BRICS members to strengthen cooperation under the framework of the Global Security Initiative. India chaired the meeting as the rotating presidency, with representatives from Brazil, Russia, South Africa, and other member states in attendance.
