China Expresses Deep Concern Over Drone Attack on UAE's Barakah Nuclear Station on May 19

According to China’s Foreign Ministry spokesman Guo Jiakun on May 19, China expressed deep concern over the attack on the Barakah Nuclear Power Station’s auxiliary facility in the United Arab Emirates. Guo stated that China opposes armed attacks on peaceful nuclear facilities and emphasized that civilian and non-military targets should be protected. He called for an immediate comprehensive ceasefire to prevent further escalation in the region.
