China's Central Bank Signals Wider Monetary Easing Space in Q3 2026

According to Deputy Governor Zou Luan of the People's Bank of China (PBOC), the second half of 2026 will see monetary policy strengthen countercyclical and cross-cyclical adjustments based on domestic and international economic conditions. As government bond issuance accelerates in the third quarter, monetary policy easing space is expected to widen further to support fiscal measures and sustain macroeconomic growth.
