On May 22, Midea Group announced that a court has ruled on defamation cases involving three individuals who allegedly posted disparaging and malicious content attacking the company and its brand on their personal social media accounts. According to the court decision, defendants Li, Liu, and Xie must pay a combined compensation of 500,000 yuan to Midea Group and issue public apologies through their verified accounts, with the statements pinned for 30 days.
