According to Beating, ByteDance’s Douban Input Method has officially launched its macOS version. Previously available only on iOS and Android, the desktop application integrates Douban’s proprietary speech model, supporting dialect recognition, tone input, and Chinese-English mixed transcription with automatic filtering of verbal redundancies. The macOS version also features long-text error correction and context-aware intelligent suggestions for keyboard input.
